I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. After this long layoff, I hope they give us a good episode tonight.

What up guys? What did you think of the episode. I missed it Wednesday night and was traveling, so I had to watch it on iTunes in my hotel room. I definitely want to re-watch on Tivo.

This episode reminded me a lot of the last episode before the break. I guess that makes sense, since it's basically just Part 2 of the same epi. I found Juliette's backstory a little slow and confusing at first, but it definitely picked up, and the bus hitting her ex...I wasn't looking for it and was one of the first OMG moments of season 3 for me. What a way to go. At what lengths will Dharma go to get what they want? Coincidence?

I'm sure someone's already gone back and figured out what Ben and Juliette were saying when they were talking. I trust nothing that comes from either of the two.

Not quite sure what to make of the whole Alex/Karl story. The whole thing- all the way back to the first of the season- just seems too contrived. And what purpose does this story serve? Is Alex really Ben's daughter? Who does that make Russeau?

What exactly was the test drug that Juliette developed? Obviously some sort of crazy fertility drug, but what was the deal with her sister? Did I miss something- it appeared she had cancer, or had just very recently gone into remission. If so, seems mighty early to be getting pregnant. She even said herself that she needed to get "well". Uh, shouldn't you get well first, and then think about getting pregnant.

Glad the show's back- I've really taken a break from the show and all the podcasts during the hiatus, so I feel a bit refreshed and ready for the stretch run. Look forward to you guys' podcast. Later.

enjoyed the season 2 wrap-ups. So many of the questions you guys raised are probably going to be dropped and smoothed over with the advancing plot. So many of these minor mysteries seem to derrive from ambiguous-for-the-sake-of-being-ambiguous writing.
The Jae Lee suicide is a perfect example. They wanted a dramatic surprise by having the body nearly hit Jin, but the whole confusion could have been cleared up if they had showed a distraught Jae Lee grab the pearls and pout on the balcony. That way it would atleast be clear that we were supposed to think it was a suicide and it still leaves the writers the option of having somebody throw him off if that's where they wanted to go later.

I'm a little worried about the implications of the whole bus thing, but otherwise i really enjoyed this week's episode. They managed to make Juliette's motivations dramatic and make sense.

looking forward to the podcast. rock on,
