What did you think?

Hey guys. Just found your podcast last week, and it has quickly become one of my top 2. Love how detailed you guys go with each epi and I think you have a lot of great thoughts, theories, ideas, etc.

I thought this was a really good episode, with just enough bad lines mixed in to give you guys plenty to talk about. "I feel stupid". "The bathroom works". ???WTF is that??? Nikki is growing on me a little, but Paolo needs a "rag-doll" lesson from ol' smokey, he is BRUTAL!!

What do you guys make of the Jack/Ben/Juliette story? I thought the funeral scene was great, and I loved the scene where Jack lets Ben know that he knows the x-rays are Ben's. Is Juliette's "flashcard" message to jack just another part of their elaborate con, or is she really planning a coup d'etat? Did you notice she filmed the flashcard movie at her O-Town house? What can we learn from that? How'd she manage to pull that off without Ben finding out?

Smoke Monster was great. Eko didn't have a chance. His backstory really painted him in a pretty bad light. I can understand what he originally did to save Yemi as a child, but the deal with the vaccines and the warload was pretty bad- Eko had to know he had a date with karma at some point in his life. What of the smoke monster asking Eko, "why do you speak to me as if I'm your brother"? Is it not aware of how it is perceived? Also, I think Locke's "two birds with one stone" was a parallel to smokey's plans for Locke and Eko.

Well, my mind is spinning, but I'll be back. Again, love the podcast guys. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on last night's episode.

I should have seen it coming but I was blindsided anyway. Eko was one of my favorite characters.

>>The worst part about Eko's death is that he won't be able to march into the Others' camp with Locke, Sayid, Jin and Desmond and start throwing beatdowns on those creeps...<<

Yeah, I was looking forward to this too. Sucks major ass!

The Jack/Juliette/Ben story is getting really, really interesting. It's hard to tell whether she and Ben are in on the flash card game or whether she did this on her own. Since there are cameras everywhere that Ben can access it's hard to see how she could get away with this by herself. But maybe she knows how to get around the rules? We'll see. I think this is one of the best episodes out of all three seasons so far.

What up guys. I was listening to your Glass Ballerina podcast yesterday and Justin mentioned the whisper transcripts that are available at Lost Links and The Fuselage. Claude, have you had a chance to check any of that stuff out? I'd love to hear your take on them. I think the ones that are of actual whispers that we hear on TV (Sayid in woods after escaping from Danielle, Sawyer in woods with boar) might be pretty legit. The guys on The Fuselage that break them down seem pretty convincing. But, I'm not sure about the "hidden" whisper stuff. Lookin' forward to your next podcast, later.

Great comments guys. This episode was pretty damn good.

We've recorded the podcast, and it's a whopper. It will hopefully be up by Monday morning...

420B,
I listened to some of the stuff at Lost Links and most of it was unintelligible. Sometimes I could hear stuff, and maybe it was what they had transcribed. Most of the time, I didn't hear anything at all. No noise or sound that could correlate to the transcript.

I think a lot of what people claim they hear is interesting, and makes sense for the scene. But my final judgment is that if it was important, we would hear it clearly...
