Hi, I just recently discovered your podcast and I LOVE it! You guys go over everything in such detail and with enough humor that I Am usually grinning as I listen to the whole thing.
Anyway, I am beginning to think that the cave is really DeadLocke's hangout and that the Lighthouse is Jacob's hangout. I say this because we could see that the tapestry was quite ornate and neat, as were the names written on the lighthouse compass/mirror, and it just wouldn't make sense to me that in addition to the lighthouse names and numbers Jacob would also scrawl them on the cave walls. That being said, when DeadLocke took Sawyer to the cave, he scratched out the name of Locke, as he was now known to be dead. It also appeared that Claire's name was scratched out already. So, my question is, why didn't DeadLocke scratch out Sayid's name? Sayid was already dead, and "claimed", so if DeadLocke is at all involved or aware of the status of "claimed" candidates, wouldn't he want to scratch his name out then? Or do you guys think he is not aware of Sayid's status? If he is not aware of his status, maybe there is another force behind the claiming?
