When I try to go into the forum for season 6 it says

That was my fault. It should be working now.
Can't wait! Been a long time coming. Hope everyone had a nice break, but I'm glad we're finally back. We're getting the old band back together!!
it's funny: i want answers to lost's mysteries, of course, but i hate how the writers have to introduce such an elaborate set-up in order to provide these answers. in other words, the direction that the show is now going in feels just like a round-about way of explaining lost's mysteries.
...i mean, it's interesting that there are two timelines, but i'm sick and tired of the whole 'one step forward, two steps back' move that keeps happening, where we learn what's going on with something only first losing interest in it.. i mean, we speculated that richard was on the slave ship SUCH A LONG TIME AGO, so the revelation tonight that he used to be 'in chains' is so anti-climatic. i dunno. as always, i'm sure the podcast will be better than the actual episode of lost that you will be reviewing...
I agree. There's so little time left, I can't believe they're still taking two steps back (though I should know better by now). Are you sure Richard was on the ship? That's what everybody is saying, but couldn't he be a throwback from the ancient egyptian culture or whatever?
--Phat_Cartman (sorry, had trouble logging in)
The premier was awesome. Especially the second hour which was so surreal that it completely blew me away. It felt more like a season finale than a premiere. Infact they could have used the exact temple story in a finale and it would have been completely satisfying. The alt-reality led to some really powerful scenes esp the one between Locke and Jack. The temple set looks awesome. I'd imagined that the temple was in ruins like the exterior walls but it was surprising to see it fully intact.
@postprefix: I don't think Alpert being on the black rock was supposed to be a 'revelation', they have hinted that several times including the whole ship in the bottle gag last season. It felt more like a matter of fact statement, EvilLocke's character said to be clever and have the double meaning of Alpert being free both from the physical chains and the metaphorical chains which were a result of his devotion to Jacob.
Glad to be back and wondering again! Jeri
So happy to have C&J back! (more excited for podcasts than lost as usual..)
First, welcome back everyone! Great to see familiar (and new) names.
I loved the premier and agree it seemed like a finale. They went places with the show and characters I could never have guessed. I'm anxious to watch it again, but my first impression is that it blew my mind!
@TheRadioTower: Good point about the double meaning of the "chains" comment! It seems I totally missed that!
-Hot Damn ,its LOST LOWDOWN TIME.

I have known for a few years that Locke is dead, but watching this episode it really hit me that he is never coming back. If Jack`s plan had worked, there could have been a possibility of Island Locke coming back, but now that we see it `has not` it really hits home that he`s gone for good. It almost felt as though Smokey gave him a eulogy this episode and summarized how sad Locke really was. RIP Locke.
Although I have to say, watching Terry O`Quinn play the smoke monster is a treat and worth sacrificing Locke. I never thought I`d see the day where the most interesting character on Lost was the Monster himself.
Overall I loved the episode and am looking forward to listening to your thoughts on the episode.
I still have hope for Locke. I think there was a lot said in the conversation between Jack and Locke at LAX...both when Locke said that it was just a body and not Jack's father, and when Jack said "nothing is irreversible" I don't think either statement was coincidence.
Incidentally, in the 5 years I have watched the show, I had never made the connection between Locke having a severed spine and Jack being a spinal surgeon. Weird.
The latest episode isn't on Itunes yet. When will it be available?
Missy: The Lost Lowdown? I don't think it's been recorded yet!
When is the new podcast coming out? I have been looking forward to it.
Claude and Justin normally record on the weekend, so probably Sunday or Monday. The change this season to Tuesday nights is prolly gonna make it tough to listen to TLLD before the next episode airs, but it's a sacrifice we'll just have to make- a worthy sacrifice!
You only get notification of the podcast if you know the answer to the FQuestion, in FLatin.

Bring on the Lost Lowdown! I'm ready to tweet it @TLLhighlights
218MB Holy shit that's a big file!
With file sizes that big and a decent size audience how much are you guys paying for bandwidth?
Glad everyone is excited for the podcast. We're excited for you all to listen and to hear what you think.
RadioTower,
We thankfully have unlimited bandwith at a reasonable rate with Hipcast.com
Just thought I'd post some (rough) segment times to help make sure everyone can listen in time before the new episode:
The first two hours of the podcast are the intro, general discussion, followed by recap of Seasons 4 and 5.
Hours 2-5: Episode 6.1 recap
Hours 5-8: Episode 6.2 recap
OMG!!!

8 hrs!! I love you guys, that's amazing. So glad you're back!!! So sad this is the last season. You guys just have to do more shows post lost.
Nice, 218 mb LLD goodnes :>
lmao I love you long-winded bastards.
As for who is in the cabin, right now the consensus is that Smokey had been living in the cabin including the first time Locke visited it with the 'help me' scene. Christian is also smokey. If you consider Christian to be smokey and look at the events from that vantage point it becomes apparent everything he has done was leading up to Locke leaving the island and dying as a result.
I don't mind Christian being Smokey. But it confuses me as to why Smokey would help Sun find Jin, and other seemingly selfless things. D&C have been hinting that who is good and who is evil may not be who we expect. Maybe Smokey is the real "good guy."
