epic.

I'm not tweeting this one @TLLHighlights because we all have the time to listen to this one.

Having said that I may just have to tweet something here and there if it's really funny.

WOw! This has seriously got to be some sort of record. Someone call Guiness! Part of me can't wait to start listening, another part is sad. I know this isn't the last of TLLD, but still, this was the last new episode and the series finale. Oh well, off to start part 1.

if only i could listen to this at work i could almost make it through my 40 hour work week listening to nothing but the LLD. it makes me happy just knowing that.

still, this should get me through the summer.

I'm listening right now to part 1! Love you guys.

Just want to say, imo, the reason the island is under water/the dharma stuff/the broken foot of the statue is there/etc in the flash sideways/waiting place, is because the Losties saw those things on the island and since they don't need it to exist in this waystation it doesn't, at least conciously.

Even though they didn't know about their real lives, they created elements within their sideways lives that contained major elements of their real lives, some of them were really subtle (ie sunken island which no one saw) and others were blatant (ie present fathers/children, opposite jobs, better luck). They couldn't help but interject these things into their created place.

It's not important that no one actually saw it underwater. It probably represented more that they may have "felt" themselves pass by it after not crashing.

just a ramble.

"Sleeping Beauty was a red herring title. It turns out she was awake the whole time.....and she really wasn't that pretty."

This was 100% pure 24-karat GOLD. I even quoted it on Facebook. I labeled it as anonymous, because I forgot which one of you said it. So you'll have to let me know which genius said this so I can give you proper credit.

Aside from this, you guys are the ONLY podcasters that seem to feel the exact same way I do about this whole Lost mess. I feel like I loved the Sideways, but hated the Sideways ending SOMUCH. On the contrary, I hated the season 6 island crap, but loved the island ending.

So then......all of the happenings in the temple were completely pointless(?). The temple story progressed and contributed to the story as a whole by a factor of ZERO. I think they should have ended the entire show with LA X as the series finale, and just left the entire thing wide open. It would have been much better than the lighthouses, light holes, and light-filled churches garbage explanations we saw. Way too much light.

I think the ONLY way that all of this makes sense to me is if the show (or the last season, at least) was supposed to be seen from Jack's perspective. This was HIS afterlife that HE created so they could all be together. Then the whole church thing wouldn't piss me off so much; it would simply signify Jack's transition from a man of science to a man of faith. Also, this could help explain why Walt, Michael, Eko, Nadia, etc. weren't in the church......because they really weren't important to JACK. It's better than my "the writers are totally racist" explanation =D I just wish they would have explained all of this from the perspective of Jack.

P.S. I'm still convinced that Locke Monster was a good guy, and wanted them to "die for nothing" knowing that they would go to the Sideways together anyway.
