Anonymous said...: Nice podcast, but I was yelling at the computer during the whole "who killed the ajira passengers" debate. It was Flocke. He told us in The Incident that he wanted to "take care" of the passengers. There was time to do it after he tied up richard and before he went to sawyer. Widmore says he didn't do it. Yes, he could be lying, but I just don't think so. I think the whole point of Flocke's conversation with ben was to kill two birds with one stone. He figured Ben would kill Illana. Furthermore, he figured that Widmore would kill Ben. Ben had just tried to kill Penny afterall like 3 days prior. Flocke was sending Ben to his death or at least capture.
This would be a great way to take out two potentially problematic people without directly killing them, which would be hard to explain to the "candidates" that he needs to convince to go with him.

Not to mention Flocke's flippant "that's terrible" comment when told about the slaughter. He just didn't exactly look surprised.
