No!!!! (lol) How could you guys reopen the cabin discussion?! I had seriously put that to rest after your special podcast that was billed as solving the cabin. Now I'm having those nightmares again. For the record, I'm going to say that Jacob was never in the cabin, Iliana was wrong about it being Jacobs cabin.. because that's what the others thought for some reason? (Richard lied to them or something?) The ash was put there... by Dogin maybe because he thought Jacob lived there? I think that's kind of what you guys were getting at in your earlier podcast.

That's the most reasonable explanation, but it isn't quite satisfying to me...

How could we NOT reopen the cabin discussion?! This is basically a cabin-centric episode...

Noxex I don't think we changed our minds from what we said in the "Cabin Solved" podcast. But yeah since it was THE cabin episode, we had to go through the elements and see if it (still) made sense.

Thanks for listening. Sorry for the nightmares!

I think the way they explain Superman is that the Kryptonite was actually poisoned because of the explosion that blew up the planet.

As for the cabin, my thinking is like Justin that the ash was supposed to protect Jacob and keep out MIB.

Yes, MIB can't kill Jacob but it would've helped because when Ben eventually killed Jacob, he still needed MIB as Locke to get him there. If Ben went alone to meet Jacob, who knows how that would've played out.
